Net Service, technology partner for Emilia-Romagna’s first Ufficio di Prossimità

The first Ufficio di Prossimità in Emilia-Romagna has opened in Parma, at Casa di Quartiere Villa Ester . This new local access point to justice services is designed to bring citizens closer to voluntary jurisdiction services and make access to often complex legal procedures easier.

The initiative provides practical support to people who may face greater difficulties in accessing justice services, including older people, people with disabilities, citizens with limited digital skills and residents in inland areas. Uffici di Prossimità serve as local points where citizens can receive information, assistance in completing applications and support with their electronic submission, avoiding the need to travel directly to the Court for a number of proceedings.

The opening of the first office is part of the strategic DigIT-ER project, promoted within the national initiative of the Italian Ministry of Justice, which the Regione Emilia-Romagna joined through the Complementary Operational Programme to the PON Governance and Institutional Capacity. The initiative aims to make justice services more accessible, strengthen the protection of rights and bring institutions and citizens closer together.

As part of this initiative, Net Service works alongside the Regione Emilia-Romagna  as its technology partner, contributing to the development of the digital platforms supporting Uffici di Prossimità. These solutions enable operators to manage the electronic submission of applications in a simple and secure way, integrate with justice systems and provide digital services to citizens.
