The Unified Patent Court and Net Service S.p.A. have successfully completed their collaboration

The Unified Patent Court (UPC) and Net Service S.p.A. (Net Service) are pleased to announce the successful completion of their collaboration, which over the past 10 years has been instrumental in establishing the UPC as a digital court.

The collaboration between Net Service and the UPC began in 2015, when Net Service won the European tender launched by the Preparatory Committee for technological services to the Court. Since then, the work has proceeded to design, develop, and maintain a case management platform, to support the operation of the UPC. The work has been challenging, since it required the system to be tailormade to the new Rules of Procedure and since it had to be concluded before the Court was established and had developed a jurisprudence.

The Unified Patent Court and Net Service reaffirm their dedication to advancing digital justice and technological progress across Europe, building a more innovative legal landscape for citizens, businesses, and institutions alike.
